It captured my heart from the first moment... as it reminded me of a turning point in my motherhood journey... "It's okay for a mother to make mistakes" 💖

Mama was tired from her little one, and Maryam wanted to get her attention, and events unfolded until Mama lost her temper and said something to Maryam that upset her greatly.

Grandma came and took care of the little one, and Mama went to apologize to Maryam for her temper, and how her fatigue and anger were the reasons for what she said without thinking... and how we can all make mistakes... Then Maryam made up with her mother and they went to have breakfast together.

This is my own term, not a scientific one 😅
Many mothers' complaints, from real sessions and educational consultations, revolve around what I call, in my opinion, the curse of unbalanced awareness... We have all become highly aware of modern parenting methods, mistakes, what should be done and what should not be done... It has transformed from a tool that helps us in our journey of raising our children into a continuous self-flagellation tool.

🌸 Going against instinct 🌸

Whether with ourselves or with our children, I always warn mothers against that phrase:
"I promise I won't do that again" 😑

What are you promising... the opposite of your nature and his nature... You will continue to make mistakes for the rest of your life, and so will your little one, and therefore the lesson is not in not making mistakes.

The lesson is in the continuous pursuit of learning and improving our performance and reducing our mistakes... and if they occur, fixing them and addressing their effects.

🌸 The ideal environment contains mistakes 🌸

If you want a psychologically sound child, do not only strive not to make mistakes and avoid them as much as possible... but accept their occurrence if they happen... and work to fix them... and from here your little one will learn to accept himself as Allah Almighty created him and focus on solutions, not self-flagellation, lamentation, and crying over spilled milk.

Allah created us to sin and return... we live between fear and hope... we fall and rise again... so cling to seeking Allah's help, then striving and continuing, mothers, and not to the result 💖

If it were up to me, I would give this story to every mother before any child, to console that broken heart, fearful for her children 💖
