🌿 Publisher's Review:
This book tells the story of a ball that shared its owner's childhood, training, and moments of despair and joy. When he disappeared, it missed him and searched for him for a long time. Finally, it saw a glimmer of hope promising a reunion. Did it truly find him? And who is its lost friend?

🌿 Also from the Publisher:
"The Day the Fields Turned Green"
A symbolic story told by a ball that was in his hands...

He would run with it on the field as if he were running towards a dream...
He would sing, cheer, love, and dream of a homeland that resembled him.

In this symbolic story, the ball speaks, and in the language of children, it tells of the martyr Abdul Basit al-Sarout, that boy who one day became a "guardian of freedom"...
But we don't tell the ending, rather we recount the voice he planted in hearts.

🌿 My Opinion:
When I held this book, I was filled with conflicting emotions all at once...
How great was the euphoria of liberation... and how great was our longing for our martyrs...
The writer @shaimatn excelled in writing the story in a very fluid way for children, through the voice of the ball of the guardian of freedom, the martyr, God willing, "Abdul Basit Sarout."
Yes, the ball did not reunite with its owner, but it heard his voice reverberating everywhere...

The symbolism of the writing with the pictures was incredibly creative... The ball was with the child who grew up and became a young man, then he left it for a very important event... After that, the roof and walls collapsed, the ball was torn, and a new child came and found it and repaired it, and its new home became a tent that did not protect from the winter cold or the summer heat...
Afterwards, we see a map of Syria, all green... and we see statues of "Hubal" being crushed... and we see roses being thrown from helicopters... And in all these scenes, we read the anthems of the martyr al-Sarout in gray ♥️

Our children are now visiting their country, Syria... let them know who the heroes are who returned the country to us from the most tyrannical oppressor...
And praise be to God, before and after ♥️
