🌿 My review:
The summer vacation was approaching, and Sara had planned every detail of it to share with her very close friend, Mariam ❤️.. But to Sara's shock, Mariam's family decided to spend the entire summer vacation outside the country with their relatives 🥲
Sara started ignoring Mariam and looking for a new close friend to share everything with.. But she couldn't find a friend with exactly the same interests, which made her even sadder..
Then she talked to her father about what was bothering her.. And a beautiful discussion ensued with her father about the concept of friendship and about his constant companion.. which was his Holy Quran ❤️
And he taught her how to befriend the Quran?
The story is very, very beautiful ❤️❤️
🌿 Some notes:
🍡 Sara ignored Mariam not because of any mistake Mariam made, but simply because she wouldn't be with her.. And she apologized to her at the end of the story.. And here is a beautiful lesson for our children ❤️
🍡 I really liked that friendship isn't about complete compatibility between friends, but rather that each friend can share some interests with us.
🍡 Children often become attached to a specific friend and base their entire happiness on their presence, and here is a very beautiful lesson we can offer to children about Sara and Mariam.
🍡 I liked the mention of some beautiful notes in the book, such as sleeping early to wake up for Fajr prayer and the Sunnah of dusting the bed.
🍡 I didn't like the idea of sleeping over at a friend's house.. Some might disagree with me, but I disapproved of it 😅
🍡 The story is accompanied by a QR code that takes us to a new story narrated by Sara's father to Sara to reinforce the concept of befriending the Quran.
And the story is very beautiful.. There are also two activities about the concept of befriending the Quran.
