I was deeply affected by it.
I was surprised that a novel this wonderful hasn't received the fame and widespread attention it deserves 😶
I was affected by it as a mother first.. and as an online business owner second..
It tells the story of a 13-year-old boy.. whose mother is engrossed in social media.. and doesn't see him or his three-year-old sister.. He decides to start an anonymous blog.. hoping that one day she might stumble upon the blog while browsing.. and see him and his sister..
He started the blog with a challenge.. to put down his phone for 40 days and observe the details of life.. If he succeeded, he would be able to help his mother succeed..
He only picks up his phone to document the results of the challenges he invents to pull his mother out of drowning..

The blog's topic spread among children and adventures began.. and his mother started to change without him knowing why.. The challenges and the blog's reach increased until it ended with a dangerous situation.. he managed to escape from it.. and then his mother confessed everything.. what happened when the story's hero was born.. and how it started very positively and with pure good intentions.. and how the mother reached this point.. and how she drowned and her children drowned with her..

A realistic novel to the point of pain.. a novel that indirectly talks about some mothers and how they might have lost themselves and their children in the whirlpool of a social media page, even if it started with pure intentions..

The book is a message to every mother and every young person that the phone is not a substitute for life.. and life contains many details and situations that deserve to be lived with all our hearts.. so let's live it with our conscience and our eyes instead of living it behind screens..

And is every page for a famous person truly as pure as it seems? Or is there a sad story and a cry for help behind it that found the wrong path? So the person delved deeper into the seas of chaos instead of finding a hand to pull them towards the shore of safety..

I highly, highly, highly recommend it.. and by God, I recommend it to parents and children.. As a mother, I was very affected by it and resolved to review myself every time I want to pick up my phone while my children are next to me..
