🍡 Tales that Instill Values 🍡
🍡 (Part One - 25 Educational Tales and 25 Moral Values)🍡
🌿 I wanted to write a review about this book, but honestly, no matter how much I talk about it, I won't do it justice ❤ .. In my opinion, it's one of the best books I've seen for children so far ❤ The stories have unexpected endings and convey the meaning well, and linking them to the Prophet's biography through the discussion section with the educator is wonderful ❤
I highly, highly, highly recommend this book ❤
🌿 I'll leave you with a review by the distinguished Siham Obaid ❤ and the pictures are also taken by her ❤ The review is an adapted excerpt 🌺
One of the new releases from Ibsar Center.. Written by Dr. Abdullah Abdel Moaty and Ahmed Wahba
- It consists of 25 separate stories with various animal characters.
- At the end of each story, there is an educational value derived from the tale, along with suggestions on how to discuss that value with the child.
- Each educational value is supported by an authentic prophetic hadith.
Although only one value is written after the end of each tale, we can extract more values from a single tale.
The stories are beautiful and appealing to children, interspersed with illustrations that convey the meaning of the story and its characters. The stories are not long and boring, nor are they short and lacking in meaning. Rather, they are medium-length and suitable for kindergarten children so they don't get bored. Their events are engaging.
I love stories told by animals, with animal characters, to convey values and morals to children. I am surprised by those who don't like this type of story, even though the best literary books featured animals speaking and had animal characters, such as (Kalila and Dimna) and (Animal Farm), for example.
While reading the stories, when I started a story, I had a feeling that this story was well-known and famous, and its ending was known, and I'd say to myself: How will the author rephrase it to be different?! But then the events would quickly change, as would the characters' actions and their reactions, which were different from what I had in mind.
For example, in the story of (The Smart Cub) >> when I started reading... a lion king and a small cub... a just king and evil hyenas... another lion who wants to challenge his rule... I said to myself: This is like the movie The Lion King... Mufasa, Simba, and Scar 😅
But suddenly the events change and the idea that came to me takes a completely different and very beautiful approach.. I won't spoil the story, but the book approached it in a completely different and unique way.
Similarly, in the story of the Green Duck >> I imagined it like the story of the Ugly Duckling, but the events surprise me with a completely different idea and style than what we know.
Indeed, the stories are beautiful, and their angle of approach is very different and unique.
🌿 Number of pages: 141 pages.. The book is mostly vocalized, and the fonts are clear and large and suitable for the reader's eye. The book's material is glossy paper, and the illustrations are brightly colored and clear.
