🌿 Review and photography by Dr. Wissam Al-Abdullah, with modifications🌸

💥The story description states:

Each of us took our place...
All of us looking straight ahead...
The sound of the muezzin rose, "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar"...
And our hands rose towards the food...
But without my mother's voice in the room...
"Stop everyone, have you forgotten the jar?"

In the story, we experience warm Ramadan moments with Burhan and learn about praying in absence...

💥About the Story

We experience Ramadan vibes with the story... all family members gathered around the iftar table... And before starting to eat, the mother reminds them to bring the jar...

The jar contains the names of their loved ones so that each of them can choose a name and pray for them in absence...

What will Burhan, our story's hero, do... and what idea is glowing in his mind?

I won't spoil the story's events... and I'll leave you to complete it...

💥Story Goal
The story aims to present the virtue of praying in absence... in accordance with the saying of our noble Messenger, peace be upon him... and a famous story..

From Safwan, who was the son of Abdullah bin Safwan, and whose wife was Al-Dardaa, he said: I came to Shaam and went to Abu Al-Dardaa at his home, but I did not find him, and I found Umm Al-Dardaa, so she said: Do you want to perform Hajj this year? I said: Yes. She said: Then pray to Allah for good for us, for the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to say: "The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. At his head there is an appointed angel who, whenever he supplicates for his brother with good, the appointed angel says: 'Ameen, and to you likewise.'"

Islam encouraged the unification of hearts and the showing of affection and love for the sake of Allah, and among the reasons for love is a Muslim's prayer for his brother in his absence...

And if this matter is in Ramadan, then it is among the good deeds between Muslims... especially since the prayer of a fasting person at iftar is answered, with Allah's permission... confirming the words of our noble Messenger, peace be upon him...

(Three whose supplications are not rejected: the just ruler, the fasting person until he breaks his fast, and the supplication of the oppressed) (Sahih Al-Tirmidhi).

💥What I liked...

1️⃣ The words of the story are easy, and the rhyming sentences have a pleasant rhythm for children...

2️⃣ The illustrations of the story are distinctive and expressive of the Ramadan atmosphere..

3️⃣ The writing is in large and clear font, and the words are vocalized, making it suitable for a reading level...

4️⃣ The idea is good and applicable and implementable... a beautiful interactive activity for children... by making the jar and putting names in it and placing it on the iftar table to pray for our brothers and loved ones in absence.
