🌿 My opinion (for those who care 🙂)
🍡 The book is very rich and requires the educator to sit with the child for several sessions. It is not preferable to finish the story in one sitting so that the child can apply the ideas one by one, thereby maximizing the benefit.
🍡 I do not recommend that the child read the book alone, even if they are proficient in reading. On the one hand, this book will raise questions that require the educator to be by their side to answer and discuss.
On the other hand, the book mentions hadiths about hell, especially on pages 8, 40, and 42. This topic can be skipped if the child is young or their religious understanding is not mature enough to accept it, while emphasizing that the child is not accountable. If hell is mentioned to an older child, it should be clarified that this is part of the perfect justice of the Lord of all creation, so that there is no equality with the oppressor... And that our Creator, Allah, loves us and will reward those who love Him and truly follow Him with eternal gardens ❤
🍡 The ideas and discussions presented greatly help the child in their initial learning of prayer, so they can learn it correctly. Perhaps I repeat this phrase often, but I truly wished I had found these stories when we were young.
🍡 There is one idea I wished had been emphasized more... and that is the idea of prayer itself... that it is a connection between the servant and their Lord... that it is a means of communion with the Great Creator... that it is a refuge to ask the Strong, the Almighty for what you desire...
And that our Lord does not need our prayers, but we are the ones who need them.
I wished for "Grant us rest by it, O Bilal" ❤
Feeling these meanings from a young age is essential because it is difficult to feel them in old age.
