🌿 My Opinion:
I read the book in one sitting because I loved it so much ❤️ I learned so much from it.. Honestly, I never knew any of this information about Imam Al-Shafi'i.. A great man among the great men of the Ummah.. And an example among its many examples.. A symbol of chivalry, a symbol of knowledge, a symbol of ethics, a symbol of jurisprudence, and a symbol and a symbol.... Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, combined all great qualities.. So how could he not be an example?!

More than anything that affected me in this book were 3 points.. One was how Al-Shafi'i spent his day.. and how he divided it to gather what he gathered.. The other was how his righteous mother diligently raised him from a young age, as Al-Shafi'i was an orphan! And the other was how people show fanaticism for one school of thought over another.. while the jurists themselves used to discuss, debate, and share knowledge, and they were teachers to each other and students to each other too!! And I've included the last picture to illustrate this idea ❤️

🌿 My Advice
Read it with your children.. a chapter every day.. and discuss Al-Shafi'i's life and together extract lessons.. and explain terms to your children.. the term Hadith sciences.. the term Tafsir.. the term Fiqh........
And together draw diagrams of Al-Shafi'i's life or his day or his knowledge or or.....
