In light of the immense calamities Muslims are facing in this era, a believer needs to transition from the confines of crisis to the breadth of wisdom, and from the limitations of a narrow temporal context to the expanse of a broad historical framework. This is achieved by understanding divine laws, because when one only sees the problems of their time, they may fall into despair and frustration. However, if one observes God's law among nations and societies, and comprehends the great trials that Allah, glorified be He, ordained for prophets and messengers, then witnesses Allah's victory for them after prolonged tribulation, and sees His destruction of their enemies after respite and gradual entrapment, then reads Allah's statement that what He did to those criminals was not specific to them or tied to their individual identities, but rather general and linked to the characteristics they possessed, and that He, glorified be He, will do to later generations what He did to earlier similar ones – in this way, the believer transitions from the narrowness of crisis to the breadth of wisdom. It is important to note that many of those who approach the topic of divine laws through observation or inference neglect the issue of methodological precision in understanding these laws. This has led to significant flaws in applying these laws to reality, and this flaw in application leads to one of two outcomes: either excessive optimism or despair and frustration. Therefore, in this book, I have strived to explain the methodological controls for understanding divine laws in general, and to clarify the methodological controls for understanding each specific divine law.
