Therefore, the reward for anyone who reconciles between them is great, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you of something better than the degree of fasting, prayer, and charity? They said: Yes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Reconciling between people, and discord between people is the shaver. I do not mean that it shaves hair, but it shaves the religion." [Sahih Abi Dawud by Al-Albani, Hadith No. 4919] ... Hence, your efforts to teach your children how to solve their problems, and to raise them with practical and theoretical love, all this effort will be rewarded – God willing – with a reward greater than the reward of your prayers, fasting, and charity. And to have a share in the reward of reconciling between siblings, and to prevent Satan from causing enmity between our children, I have strived in this book to present practical ideas that help parents manage conflict between children, and teach the brother (and sister) how to solve their problems with their siblings creatively and lovingly.
